I, Oculus, am a photographer and visual artist.
My love of photography stems from evenings in Fayetteville, North Carolina, sitting with my great-grandmother going through our precious family photos, some so old that we couldn't even touch them.
As she told the stories behind the images, I fell totally in love.
The honesty portrayed in photography is real and raw. It calls me, it feeds me.
I think the thing I enjoy most about photography is working with a model who knows how to make love to my lens, there is no need for 4-play. He/she knows their angles and I need to say nothing but click away. For me that is instant arousal.
I am passionate about my craft. I love to shoot and I love new ideas. Creation feeds me. Looking to collaborate with anyone who thinks outside the norm.
I think the most meaningful divinity is in the simplicity of a thing, any ‘thing’ pure, organic, of nature, born. You manage to capture the ‘thing’, as it were, without altering the integrity of said thing- and that's a gift. --Terrianne
